Development

I'm gonna write a litle article about the development in the TQ game Conquer Online. The newer things has not exactly been something good for us ''older'' players.

I'm gonna start at the very beginning, the first thing that made it much easyer to get better, wich is of course, Lottery. This is something many of us still consider a good thing, but its way to easy. Like the other day, i saw some level 50 guy win a +8 earring AND a +5 stone. This shouldnt be possible, that's what I mean, and i do belive the majority of those that has played 5 years or more do to. The next major thing that came was Potency. This was also a very annoying release of ur that reached the 130th level before it came out, as everyone seemed to start catching up on us. My friend for example, wich was about on the 90th level at that time before it came out made it to the 110th just in a few days, and he allmost never levels. This annoyed me a lot, as at that point I was 130 secound reborn and he was catching up, and there was no way of distancing him.

After this a lot of minor changes came wich seemed to start pissing people off I'm afraid, and a lot of the older players started quitting buying Dbs, and the word ''bulker'' became an ill word to bare. My friend was a guy that kept buying, and I once asked him why, the answer I got was this; ''I am one of the best players on this server, and i need to keep with that, so I'll continue buying DBs'' This is something that should'nt happen, you may call him addicted but this is what's going on nowadays, it happens for VERY many players im afraid. This friend of mine is one of the top players on my server now but he has spendt thousands of dollars on this game, he has quitted many times and don't really play much, so you can't call him an addict can you? But he still keeps buying these DBs.

Anyways back on ''topic'' there is allso these new ''talismans'' to be discussed, and the ''item quests'' wich I and SO many others mean to have destroyed this game for example, the other day i saw a archer will full +6 2 soc doing 1s to another guy wich had like full eli 1 soc, this is insanity if i may say, it just should'nt be so. And these new item quests, wich have resulted in the majority of the server having full free gear, as it gives them full supers, this is also something that should be removed.



Well I'm gonna say thank you for reading, I think ill go deeper into this case later, if you let me in =D

4. Why do you want to join TQ Journalist Team?



I want to join the journalist team because since the game started I have been reading all articles from the journalists, I am fan of every journalist of warlords and I started to get interested in writing my own articles so i talked to Techno and he recommended me to join the journalist team and show everybody my skills for writing.



5.     The Open Beta Test has started, bringing new updates to the wonderful world of Warlords. Bonus Packs have been given to every new player that joins the game, giving them Free Warlord Points and several items that you can buy in the Item Mall. Free items are non-tradeable but they sure help you in your way to the top. 

        May WPs Drop is the newest event that is taking place every weekend until the end of May. Every single rebel in the world of Warlords is dropping WP packs, containing 2,3,4 or 5 Free Warlord Points that you can use to purchase items in the mall, from Dogstar Packs up to Garments.

        Another event that is being held is the Lucky Draw event, which awards medallions and WPs to players under level 20 up to players above level 70. You can be the lucky one picked from many players and get your chance to win some goodies.

        The famous lottery has caused sensation to every player, everybody hunts the entire day to spend their findings in what becomes their entertainment, everybody has 10 chances to play per day, each chance costs 28 Warlord Points. It is worth give it a shot, you can end up winning a Gold or things like 200 million box, and Flawless items. Thanks to this system of lottery many players have build up their fortune in a matter of seconds. 



Opinions based on the events brought after Open-Beta:



Apolo: What's your opinion about the several events and updates that have been launched after the Open-Beta Test came out?

ArcherLif: They are good events though. The drop rate for free wps are really nice. It requires a little effort to get them but you can still get a nice amount.

devilonline: I think the events and updates are useless, and i say this game is doomed to extention within 6 months.

Alena: Oh, that's great, we can all experience about many items in shopping mall ^^.







        All this updates and series of events attract new players to join the game and motivates players to try their best  and let them enjoy the world of Warlords. The Open Beta Test has brought to Warlords joy and desire for competition, everybody is giving their maximum capacity to be the top, but the question is, who will be the heroe of this adventure?

4. Why do you want to join TQ Journalist Team?



I'll be rather blunt about this: the writing quality of some of the articles on here are a little lacking.  This is not to say that the authors are not bad at what they do (Heavens no, people merely have their own way of expressing themselves), but in terms the amount of thought given to an article...there's something to be yearned for.  Of course, this is not to say that I am in any way better than them, but I figured that it may be interesting to see what I can bring to the team.

Article Type: Story.  Title: Enek's Log: Day 1.

The familiar aroma of iron danced along the room, twisting itself around the young man as he continued his work.  Sparks answered the waltz as they pranced around the edges of metal, reflecting themselves off the dark of the man's shaded goggles.  They provided the only light in the room as the man solemnly worked. Zzz! zzz! zzz! buzzed the tool as bit into the flesh of the metal, humming a methodical tune as it called for the waltz continued.  On and on it went, work to rhythm, rhythm to music, music to dance as the young man played the conductor to this one-man orchestra.  Darkness played the audience to this scene, the room the concert hall.  Such a program continued as light began to creep in slowly, stretching languidly as if yawning.  The man stopped; the music at a pause.  He took off his goggles and picked up his work.  He stood up, holding the metal to the outstretched dawn.  Shining in the light was a welded treble clef, an E inscribed into the center.  He smiled, letting the waltz continue as he watched the light shine through the holes of the clef, admiring the beauty of the breaking dawn.  He turned around, boots making an authoritative clank! clank! on the metal surface as he walked out to the platform.  Facing him at about 30 meters away was a man a few hundred times his size, standing at a menacing salute, glass eyes cold and unassuming.  The young man walked over to the chest of the mechanical giant, planting his right hand on the base of the left pectoral.  The surface was smooth, and the feel cold but soothing, as if reflecting the peace in the young man's heart.  "Good morning...partner," he said, placing the metal clef onto the chest.  "Today is the beginning of the rest of our lives.  Today is the beginning of our ének, our song.  Let us perform to please," he finished, smiling as he finished his poetic prose.
