I have been away for nearly two months, and many changes were certainly made.

I was wondering what is the exchanged amount in gold for 1 zero point? As well as the price of meteors in both Gold and Zero Point?

it depends on players usually it is 200k for 1 zp but can be up to 300k ea

i've only started playing in february but met prices from what i've seen are 1.6kk-2kk gold and as low as 5 zp to as high as 11 zp in market.

1.6kk-2kk that isnt a normal price they generally are between 1kk-1.5kk those people are price gouging their mets. 5zp is a fair price for mets however

hard to really find someone selling zps for gold.... mets are usually wat failen said ( at least on centaurus) and in zp its usually 6zp(on the rare occasion) to 9 zps.... although theres usually a ton of ppl selling for 7zp and 8zp

which translates to 2kk gold = 1 met = x where(4>x>12)is true

therefore:2kk/x requires a truth table i'm not going to make for you as its so simple. max price is 2 mill/5=gold/zp
min would be 2 mill gold/11=gold/zp those should be stable rates.


market rates however are insane. met=1kk-1.8kk divided by that range.
so assuming around 1.5kk and a met2zp rate around 7, ~200kgold/zp.

see not hard to work out. inconsistent as heck, but not hard.
(notes "/" means division, kk=million=mill, gold = galaxy gold, zp= zero point(s), me = tired, crazy, and goin' to bed before i respond to another post :P )

f*^* all the translating how much the zp is ,you can see it by looking at the markets. i play on cent and it was sat 10pm est and half of the lower section of booths were empty.

the value of the zp is going to raise because there are so many put out by TQ. bulkers of zp and high lvl character aren't playing as much as they used to. instead of not "delteing" the char so that the system can regester that the character is no longer, it resolves that they still play.

we can't view the ammount of things based on the met either
all i need to do is go to green planet (neptune) c or d and i will walk with 5. sell the mets in the store and drain the zp that is few and far between due to bulkers and what not.

now this isn't an angry reply, just wanting to put a different light on things.

good explaination, i have the same idea. if anyone dont understand, i explain:

1 met at npc = 2mil = 29zp in zp shop, so 1zp=2mil divide by 29zp = 69k gold

but in current economy, base on reasonable price:

1 met = 5 zp = 1.5mil, so 1zp = 1.5mil divide by 5 = 300k gold

up to u on what reasonable price of met in zp and gold in the current economy.

price of mets in zps r dropping like crazy i have sold mets for
10-12zps like a month or so ago now i cant even sell em for 6zps.
and i have seen ppl selling mets for as low as 7 GOLD but it was just a mistake. wish they would make a mistake on a dark star XD

actually you can use that to base a price for gold/zp/mets. you just have to add another variable for the time it takes to sell vs the money that could otherwise be made in that time to buy a met(2 million gold in 2hours is not hard and an npc met is 2 million), and adjust accordingly.

so for me if the selling price means that it will take more then 1 hour to move 1 met, then the gain is reduced by 1/2 or 5/8ths depending on if i used a booth,( which ultimately halves the value of the zps for me), or doubles the gold/zp.

you wanna maximize profitability set your met price at 5 zp, and never accept gold for a met below npc rate. farm gold like mad, and just buy npc mets to resell.

at least until you get to later areas where mets drop regularly.. at that point a lower zp/met rate or even gold might be worthwhile depending on your needs.

hmm lost my cohesion somewhere in there and can't find it to fix it ><.

with you saying that may be the reason that mets are lowering in value
people making money off the transports (there is a chance that you can) and then reselling them thinking its a free zp or 2

who said anything about transport mission? if i spent hours at that i'd get nowhere- the magic moneymaker is material(1) for intensive fuel(flamegun ammo 3000 units) which buys for 54k and resells for 18k consuming 1 material and 4 cells which is better then most everything else you can trade depot mats for including uniques, at least up till around lvl 167 depot if the sell value increases at a linear rate each 10 lvls higher on the gear. this magic starts working as early on as the lvl 57 area or so when the materials move to the max vendor capacities. and flamegun ammo is the most bleedin' expensive of the lot. that the moneymaker afaik.



as to lowering the price of mets, yep and it should be low as common as they [apparently] are later on. after all noone will pay the 29 zp rate for them will they? and thats company set standard rate.

besides what else are you going to do to obtain zp when you can't affor more? wait, farm gladiator for masteries/masterypacks? farm missions for +1-3 or elite/ultra? your still doing the same thing really, which is trying to make a quick zp, and deflating the price the more people try it.(more quantity then demand dictates reduced price/value). so zp values climbing with more people, and everything findable is dropping in value.

seems to me thats the way the company intended, isn't it?
