I know I haven't been here in a while, busy with school and life. Hopefully this will be a good way for me to get back into the swing of things. Best of luck to everyone participating in this event.

As we all await the arrival of the new pets that are soon to come, it is critical that we all get a little refreshing on how the wonderful creatures of CT should be raised. As your PK partners, your converging tank or your boss hunting guru - the pets in this game are incredibly important to each and every player. It is necessary to raise each one tediously and with great care to assure that you will have the "tough as nails" pet that can match even the most dignified players of Crazy Tao!

Having said all of this, raising a strong pet is still much easier said than done. After reviewing many other guides on the website as well as writing down all the information I have personally gathered while playing Crazy Tao, I have been able to put together a guide that I feel will be able to help everyone in this community prepare to raise some of the strongest and greatest pets this game has ever seen!

Beginning the guide with a small bit about composing is pretty important for the simple fact that composing is imperative when creating a strong pet to fight beside you in Crazy Tao. But having pets comparable to the pros can take quite some time, even the most admirable players will tell you creating an amazing pet takes a lot of time and dedication. Using this small portion of the guide should help you better understand just how composing works.

Note: Since all of the pets in Crazy Tao are based mainly off of the pets in Eudemons, it is very likely that these new pets will benefit the most from Main attribute Composition, so that is what will be discussed thuroughly.

In the world of Crazy Tao there are four different branches of pet composition, Main Composing, Initial Composing, Luck Composing and Subsidiary Composing. As said in the previous paragraph, we will delve deeper into Main Composing. Why? Main Composing is by far the most common method of raising a pet, it is a really easy concept but can get pretty hard after your pet gets around 30*. The higher the pets quality, the higher the requiremements for the minor pet. This method of composition has certain requirements for each of the follow 4 fields, Level, Race, Loyalty and Quality.

· You can make your pet thunder through composing, evolution or using a Thunder Juice. This will allow your pet to be composed with any race Minor pet.
· Loyalty isn't something you really need to look into. It is usually not a problem, but you can gain loyalty by leveling your pet up.

Keep in mind that after 15* your pet will need a minor of the same race, so prepare yourself for this before by getting a Thunder Juice or collecting same race pets to compose with.

Main stat composing will increase the major attribute of the pet. For instance, a LittleAzreal's main attribute is Matk. When a pet gets Main composed its Growth Rate will go up but the pet will go back down to level 1.

Main Composing starts off very well and your pet will usually grow quickly depending upon which type it is. However, it will quickly decline and the results will continue to go downhill forever. After about 25* your pet will only gain around 12 points per compose on a good day.

Main composing makes for a quick start on a pet and also provides a sturdy foundation for a good pet in the future. Composing with Droplettes or Water Elf's is a pretty cost efficient way to make an awesomely strong pet and they also hatch with good quality (Typically from 2-3* and there are even 8* and 12* Elfs too).

Composing is a pretty hard process though and it isn't something that can be performed successfully 100% of the time. When a composition fails both the major and minor pet return to level one and you will have to level them back up and try again.

Now that we have gone over some of the basics that go along with composing pets, you will be able to raise a strong partner to fight beside you in CT. But how can you compose pets without knowing how to level them up quickly and efficiently....

Let us first begin the leveling portion by going over some tips, tricks, hints and other little tid-bits of information you may find useful. The following will help you get a sturdy understanding on how pets essentially work.

· Pets can use 5 EXP Balls or a combination of 3 EXP Balls and 2 Jaiden Crowns per day.
· Pets can use an unlimited number of Special EXP Balls each day.
· Pets will not level 9 levels past their owner and players may NOT use a pet that is 10 levels or higher than they are.
· Some pets level faster/slower than others (For instance VioletOnions take 2x as many Jaiden Crowns, EXP Balls and Special EXP Balls.)
· Offline TG is an amazing place for your pet, it can gain levels and EXP encredibly fast while you sleep, go to school or do other important things in your life.
· Leveling yourself and your pets simultaneously while on 2x EXP is a good way to train your pets quickly.
· Jaiden Crowns have different levels of power and efficiency, Refined Items will give you a 20 Point Jaiden Crown. Unique Items will give you a 60 Point Jaiden Crown. Elite Items will give you a 200 Point Jaiden Crown. Super Items give an extremely powerful Jaiden Crown but are not typically used due to cost. Each + Bonus on the equipment will give +10 Power to each Jaiden Crown.

Now that we have established some good ways to help pets grow we can move on to a short guide on the way you should level and compose your pets each day.

Note: This portion is for players who are around level 60 or higher. It also assumes you are NOT using a VioletOnion.

Beginning each day you have 5 chances to use 1 of the 2 methods of gaining exp. So choose which is better for you (Either 5 EXP Balls or 3 EXP Balls and 2 Jaiden Crowns) based on your income or the items you are capable of getting. If you use choose the latter it would be more beneficial to use 200 point Jaiden Crowns. Your pet should also be at its max level fro being in Offline TG from the previous day.

Start by composing the pet -> Level it up -> Compose -> Level it up -> Compose -> Level it up -> Compose -> Level it up. At this point the pet should me at it's max level again, you should compose it once more and then make a trip to Sodar to gain your daily 2x EXP. Leave market and go to a good leveling spot, f4 works great. Begin leveling the pet back up to its max level via XP Skill. By now your 2x EXP is more than likely over half gone, so you should just stay in f4 and Wind Bead the monsters (if you have that option with a mage pet) or just continue on using XP Skills.

Now is the final decision of the day, whether or not you want to compose the pet again and put it in Offline TG or if you should leave it where it is and let is level up from its current max. This decision is solely up to you and is based off of what you think is best.

Below is another small guide that will simply show where a player can level along side his/her pets. I will name the map where you will receive the most EXP and benefits for leveling in. Your pets should always be at your level or higher so the same information goes for them.

Lily Plain · Level 1-14
Cloud Marsh · 14-30
Dun Huang · 30-52
Moon Marsh · 52-70
Kun Lun · 70-1**
Yada Maze · 1**-132

**Means that your level may differ from other players, it is heavily dependant on your pets and gear. Yada is a very hard map and you cannot go there at level 70 and be fine like you can in Cata Maze on Eudemons. Each of these locations are just a tip. You are very welcome to roam free and find out which spot suits you best!

Using the two previous portions of the guide you should have been able to gain a good foot hold on how to raise a good pet. I will now end this guide with a few reminders for you to be able to return to this thread and freshen up your pet raising skills!

· Always have Gods Blessing if it is possible for you. You can get it from the shopping mall, other players, or by turning in Philosopher Stones for 3 and 7 day Gods Blessing.
· Always use Offline TG when you are not online playing Crazy Tao.
· Always try to use your 2x EXP each day if you have Gods Blessing.
· Teaming up with friends is an awesome way to gain tons of EXP for yourself and your pets.
· Always try to use 5 EXP Balls each day, if not try and use 3 EXP Balls and 2 Jaiden Crowns.
· Remember that you can use as many Special EXP Balls on a pet each day as you want. Be sure to utilize this if you can!
· Pets max out at level 132. Players level 123 and over can summon any pet in the game no matter what level.
