Yes!!! Finally!!! I finished it^^ This is not a real story. It´s like some kind of bedtime story^^ But all the feelings are real^^ This is a tale that me and Nekokishuu wrote^^ You`ll find a thousend of mistakes but give us a chance^^ We did it with Love!!![img][/img]

It was getting late in the woods. Upon the highest hill, the Lord of the land was observing the quiet beauty of twilight.
The wind was waving his warrior clothes and the red sun made his sword shine.
He was inmersed on his thoughts when a deep roar made the scared birds fled.
He knew that sound very well. _It´s a dragon_
He was a dragon slayer himself and could recognize one without mistake.
Mounted on his Ori, he went down the hill, breaking throught the forest.
He could almost smell the beast, near the secret lake. It was a mix of sulfur and ashes.
Then he rush, just to see the animal raising from the ground. And underneath it...
A black-haired warrior was confronting the dragon.
Her long hair waved with every stroke she gave with her staff.
When the dragon flinched, the Lord could see a wounded Ori on the ground. The young girl was trying to protect it, even at the risk of perishing.
_I´m not letting you go throught, you filthy beast!!!_ She screamed, panting. Her face showed a terrible pain that the warrior couldn´t figure out.
When she tried to wave her staff, then he could see it: a deep injury on her side, till that moment invisible to the Lord´s eyes.
The knight´s heart was touch for her heroic action.
When he saw that the girl was about to faint, he reacted.
He jump over the dragon´s back, and climbing upon its head, he raised his sword and plunged it into the animal´s skull. The dragon couldn´t ever roar, and dropped dead.
The young lady was completely exhausted and weak because of the blood that she ahad lost. She tried to stand up but her legs failed her and she was about to fall when a pair of strong arm hold her tenderly.
Weakness made her sight blurry, and she couldn´t know if her savior was a man or an angel.
She raised her hand and caressed his face. He wasn´t upset at all with that sweet gesture, and tried to let her know that everything was going to be alright.
She smiled with relief and whispered him “thank you... My Lord” and fainted.
Even being a Lord, owner of vast lands, a mighty warrior, a Legion´s Leader and having a unfathomable heart... he was concerned about that woman.
What if those pretty grey eyes never opened again?
For the first time in his life, he felt vulnerable and lonely.
With his trembling fingers he brushed her bloodred lips, and aproached her slowly...
A noise behind his back distracted him. The ground shaked and he stood alert.
A third Ori got closer, filling the air with dust and tension
A flash of red hair and flaming eyes appeared in front of him
_What have you done to my Lady??? You´d better answer me or i´ll kill you!!!_ the newcome girl yelled at him.
As gently as he could, he lay his sleeping beauty down and straighten up.
-And you also killed my dragon!!! What am I going to do now??? I couldn´t fulfill the only two missions that that were given to me!!! My princess is dead and the treasure inside the dragon is forever lost!!!_

He wasn´t worried about the young warrior´s threat, so he walked her way.
_Freeze!!! Don´t move!!! Don´t make me kill you!_ She told him. Her eyes were like two tiny flames.
He stoped and smiled, but not mocking at all.
_Don´t worry about your princess_ The man said _She is hurt, but I stopped her bleeding. She´s just exausted_
Watching him closely, Haru sorrounded the Lord and got near her Princess. She looked at her and touched her skin: it was warm and she was alive. Her wound was almost healed.
When the female warrior looked at him, he had knelt by the Ori.
_What are you doing?!_ The girl of flaming hair yelled at him.
He took a little bottle from his bag, uncork it and a couple of drops fell into the animal´s wound. The Ori roared, but calmed inmediately alter hearing the man´s words. The animal shake his hair and roared again, softly.
_Who are you?_ She asked, puting down her sword and full of curiosity
_Im just a warrior. My name is PoLacO_ Answered him, while a huge ori appeared next to him.
The girl watched him. He couldn´t fool her… he wasn´t a regular warrior… He had healed her princesa and the ori. And she was sure that he was the one that had killed the dragon.
_My name is Haru. I´m Princess Nekokishuu´s Aide, from Chronos kingdom_ she introduced herself.
It was getting late and night was falling over them
_You should come with me ladies_ he suggested.
_Don´t worry. We´ll be just fine_ Haru thanked him, while she took out something from her bag. It was a little ball made of glass. Haru shook it and inside it, a thousend sparkles started to shine, filling with light that part of the woods.
_I don´t think that´s a good idea. You will atract the creatures in this forest. Besides, your princess should rest in an aproppiated place_ PoLacO was talking while looked at the sleeping Neko. Haru then saw something in his eyes that never saw before when someone look at the Princess...
_Hmmm..._ She thought for a second _Ok, will go with you... but let me ask you one thing: aren´t you claiming the beast´s treasure?_
PoL watched the dragon lying dead near them
_No, you keep it_ answered the warrior. His eyes were fixed into the motionless princess.
Haru doubted a second. She didn´t want to leave Nekokishuu alone. So she told both oris: “Do take care of her , ok?” and went where the dragon lied.
PoL knelt beside Neko, and the oris sorrounded him growling
_I wont hurt her... be quiet_ and the animals retreated
_Nekokishuu..._ he whispered. He smiled without knowing why

Haru was facing the dragon´s stomach. She hated that part of treasure hunting, but she has to do it. The only way to claim the treasure was to split open the monster´s belly ant take his heart. The dragon´s heart usually transformed into a valuable gem. This stone granted powers and was very useful for enchantements and Potions as well. She took her sword out of the sheath and with an accurate stroke, open the animal´s belly.
One second after she did that, a blinding light appeared, while the dragon´s guts were turning into dust. The girl flinched and was on guard inmediately, while PoLacO, who was still on his knees beside Nekokishuu, stand up. He draw his sword and the 3 oris formed a defense line right next to him.
The light became brighter and brighter... and when faded away, a young mage was standing in front of Haru, pointing her with his staff.
In his left hand he had a big red stone that beated like a heart and shined.
_It´s mine, mine, mine!!!_ shouted the magician. He caught Haru unaware, and she didn´t know what to do: laught or punch him... Besides: why on earth dragons were dropping mages???
She watch him closely. He was wearing a pale blue gown, with dragon flakes. He was tall and athletic. Ruby red eyes, hair tied in a ponytail...
_I wont give you the stone!!!_ he told her again _I didn´t let the dragon swallow me for no reason!_
_OMG... did you let that thing EAT YOU???_ Haru was puzled_ Are you insane?_
_Well, actually... it wasn´t the brightest idea, but..._ he started to explain, a bit embarrased...
_But its not your business!!!_ and he raised his staff.
Haru couldn´t help laughing. She tried to control herself but couldn´t. Her eyes were full with tears.
_Yay!!! Don´t make fun of me!!!_
_I´m so sorry. Anyway, you can keep the gem. I always forgive a cute guy whocan make me laught ^ ^_ and turned around to go and check the princess
_Cu- Cute guy??? Me? Why???_ asked the magician following Haru, that was still smiling.
_Don´t make such a big deal about it. Anyway, that stone is completely useless for me. I´m looking for something really special_
The Aide was a bit upset when she saw the Lord looking at the princess so deeply.
_PoLacO Sama... Do you think i should take Neko Hime to some inn?_ She then said, trying to separate him of the Princess
_No, of course not. My castle is not far away from here. You can spend the night there, if you pleased_
Haru nodded and then bent down to help Neko to get on her feet. When she put her arm around the Princess´ neck, she opened her eyes with heaviness.
_My Lady_ exclamed the Aide, smiling after seeing that her Mistress was recovering. Neko was smiling her back.
Haru and the Lord helped her to mount the Aide´s ori.
The three pets set off throught the path on the woods.
Something passed throught the trees, casting a shadow over them, and that alerted them.
Haru asked herself if it was a paridge or some other bird, while she gazed the reddish sky.
But it was the mage, that was flying over them, describing circles.
Uddenly, PoLacO stopped. Dismounted and held on his hand a scroll. He unrolled it and muttered some words. A teleport appeared in front of them.
The warrior bowed Neko and Haru and told them:
_Ladies first_
The girls dissappeared under the glowing portal and PoLacO followed them, after looking back a couple times.
Ten seconds later, the teleport vanished, taking the misterious magician with them.

PoLacO´s castle was impressive. Was not so bad for someone that called himself a “common warrior”
Nekokishuu was feeling better, but PoLacO insisted in taking her in his arms to her room, like a genuine gentleman.
Then she had dinner in bed, sorrounded by the Lord´s servants, that wanted to please her, even if she didn´t want anything at all.
Haru started to feel relieved when she got into her room. The night breeze that came from the balcony window was pleasant.
She left her sword and items over the bed and undid her golden corset.
Let her hair come loose and walked barefoot over the carpeted stone floors.
The weariness accumulated in the last traveled weeks, appeared. The bed invited her in.
She laid heavily among the soft feather pillows, and closed her eyes.
The murmur of the wind was comming from the balcony, but she was too sleepy to be alert.
But then she heard a sound like crystal beating against something. She sat in the bed...
Right by her side was the violet-haired magician, trying to place the red stone quietly in her bedside table.
They look each other just a second, before Haru reached her sword and he became invisible.
_Nuuuuuuuuu wait!!! I`m... this is... this is just a misunderstanding!_ echoed the bodyless voice.
Haru ran toward the balcony to intercept him if me ment to scape, when she collided with something she couldn´t se and rolled on the floor.
When she realised, she was on top of the young mage who was starting to reappeard because of the knock in his head and the shameful position.
In a second, Haru was on her feet and pointing the mage with her sword one more time.
_Who are you and what do you want with me?_ She shouted at him, between embarrased and furious.
_I just wanna... apologize with you mylady_
_A- apologize... why?_
_You prevented me of being digested by that dragon and I treat you so bad. I thought that if I gave this stone to you, you would forgive me..._
The red-haired girl smiled when she saw him caressing his head, clearly in pain.
_Mmmm... whats your name and tell me... what brought you to these lands?_
_My name is omax Mylady. And i´m a wandering magician. Im always in search of rare and powerful stones. Please, accept this gem. It will grant you God Blessing if you know how to invoke the magic_ the young fellow said, while he held the stone to her.
_I don´t need more blessings. I´m needing a miracle actually..._
_A miracle?_ ask omax, kneeling on the floor, imitating her position.
_Have you ever heard of the “Destiny´s Breaker”? The gem of the imposible wishes?_
_Of course I did. It is said to be created by a powerful magician that performed the alchemy. People also said that his wife passed away and he pretended to bring her back to life with that stone. But when he was going to visit her grave, was attaked by a dragon, that eat him and the stone... But of course, this is just a mith_ Said omax, standing up. Inmediately, he offered his hand to Haru, to help her standing up.
The girl ignored him completely, and sticking her sword into the floor, she propelled herself to stand up.
_It´s not a mith. It must be true. It´s the only thing that can help us now, in this terrible moment of our lives_ She was truly downhearted. She was about to turn when she realised that the sorcerer´s hand was still stretched, and his face showed some bitterness.
_I didn´t mean to be rude, brave omax. My name is Haru, and I came from Chronos. I´m Princess Nekokishuu´s Aide. Pleased to meet you _ and she shooked his hand.
_Pleased to meet you too, Haru Sama_ answered omax, and he bent down and kiss her hand.

Meanwhile, Neko was awake. She got up from the bed, and was walking trhought the room. She realised inmediately that it was the Master room. And that belonged to the owner of the Castle. If she hadn´t been so weak, she would have denied to deprive the Lord of his chamber.
Some pieces of memories of that evening were coming back to her. But she remembered very well the flaming hair of Haru waving with the wind, when she was riding her ori while yelled at her:
_There´s a dragon in these lands, My Lady!! Maybe this is the very day when our prayers might be heard!!!_ and then Neko lost sight of her when she went thought the path.
In vain, the princess tried to follow her Aide. When she got to a clearing on the woods, she was completely alone. Just a cave, a waterfall... and a huge dragon that stared at her, with his big golden eyes.
The fight lasted seconds for her. The adrenaline was so high that she lost notion of time and space. Just a terrible pain made her realize that everythings was ending faster than she planned.
Then, just darkness. The sound of water falling, and a scent in the air.
That smell made her feel good, safe and in peace. It was something sweet, simply delicious, like chocolate.
“This must be Heaven” she thought, while she was trying not to faint. Her eyes were half-opened, but she thought she saw an angel, bathed by the moonlight.
And then... peace, and that intoxicating scent. Someone caressing her face... or it was the night breeze?
When she opened her eyes, there it was. The familiar face of Haru, smiling, her eyes full of tears.
When she woke up in that room, she was completely revitalized. But that place was also filled with that seductive smell.
And her guardian angel smiling at her from paintings on the walls and statues in columns.
A knock on the door, made her turn.
The angel-faced man got into the room and made a bow to her, and she curtsy back, inmediately.
_How are you feeling Princess? I really hope you are getting better. My name is PoLacO and Im the landLord of these lands where the dragon was lying_ He said finally.
_Thank you very much, My Lord. I don´t know what would have happened to me if you had never came to help me. But I´m feeling like a complete intruder into your land, your home, and even your bedroom. We abused of your hospitality_ said the Princess, completely ashamed.
_No, no. It´s the biggest pleasure to have you here, my sweet Princess. Please, do feel like your own home. All I have belongs to you if you wanted it_
_Oh no! The only thing i want is to thank you. I really appeciate what you have done for us My Lord. But my only wish is to continue my journey by morning_
PoLacO smiled. He could see that Nekokishuu wasn´t greedy or spoiled, nor even had false modesty. Si he said:
_I´ll try to please you anyway I can My Lady. But... what happened with your guards? It´s hard to understand that a crowned Princess travels alone, without them_
Neko started to feel cold sweat all over her body. Her soul was shivering.
_Ahhh... I´m so tired rigth now, My Lord. I´m not strong enoght to be chatting. I´ll go back to bed if you dont mind..._ She hated to be forced to be so cold, but she couldn´l tell him that...
PoLacO bowed to her and walk away. When he reached the door, he took the door handle, and without looking back, he said:
_Don´t worry My Princess. No one´s going to know that you are here. Not the Royal Council of Chronos nor that murderer that is waiting for you in Dark Marsh. Good nights_ and closed the door.

_And why do you need that stone so much? Why are you looking for it so tirelessly if you don´t even know if it really exists? It´s so dangerous to put the Princess life in danger for such an utopia_ muttered omax.
_You´ll never understand it. I... I would give my like for Neko Hime. I would be the happiest person in the whole world if I could. Me, the silliest girl in all kingdom, who´s always getting lost, and is not suited for Court... I was chosen to be her Aide. Me... among thousends of noblemen and warriors, Leaders and mages... it was me. Silly Haru. The illegitimate child. But for her, I could be anything... she´s everything to me..._
_Are... are you inlove with her?_ asked omax, a bit confused.
Haru started to laught inmediately. She didn´t wanted he think that she was gay, so she said to him:
_She´s all I would like to be. She´s my beloved sister. That sister that bears me but doesn´t even know she has... Well, that´s me: The Princess Aide, the illegitimete daughter of the King_

Very early next morning, Neko and Haru mounted their Oris, after saying goodbye to the Lord. Omax had left the Aide after she confessed herself, and she didn´t see him again.
_I can do that some of my personal guards go with you_ Repeated PoLacO again and again, and every time he said that, the girls refused.
_Then, let me do something for you, My Princess_ he told Nekokishuu while he summoned a Teddy-Girl. _This is one of my stronger pets and it could be of help. I can´t go with you, because I have a Legion to lead, but she will take care of you_
Neko smiled at him, feeling her face blushing.
_We have to continue our jorney, My Lady_ said Haru, approaching them. She felt a bit uneasy for being so overprotecting, but couldn´t hope being jealous
He watched them go abit distressed. His heart was heavy and full of sorrow.
“What´s happening to me” asked himself, his hand still raised, saying bye bye.
Behind the warrior, omax stand invisible. He had watched them saying their goodbyes in silent.
But when PoLacO turned and faced him, he knew this was not a normal guy.
_I know you are there. I can feel you. Appear, now_
Ans omax did. And there it was: another shiny sword pointing at his face.
_Yay! Calm down!_ sais the magem trying to push the weapon away. But PoLacO hold his sword in omax´s neck.
_You´ve been stalking those ladies for a long time isn´t it? What is ti that you want? Are you in an enemy Legion?_
_Me? No! No way. I have no boss, and no one send me to follow them... it´s just..._
Then, he remembered that day, a couple months ago.
It was a cold day. Liliplain´s market was crowded. So nobody took notice of the two girls in cloaks. Omax was buying and selling gems, when he saw them.
One of the girls was a beauty of black hair and grey eyes, and the other had flamming red hair. He remembered her eyes very well. She looked at him when they both grabbed the same stone. And those blue eyes freezed his blood.
He took his hand out as if the gem were burning him, and told her:
_You can have it!!!_ but she just smiled and said no with her head. “I´m just looking”
And she walked away.
He just couln´t take his eyes away from her. He became invisible and followed her.
Omax saw the black-haired hugging that girl, and then giving her an Ori´s egg.
The red-haired was so pleased that laughted and jump.
Both went to the pet house to hatch the egg. But when they went out, a couple of guards hold them by their arms. _It´s time to go back to the Castle My Lady. This place is too dangerous for you..._ they said to the grey eyed one.
They looked at each other with sad expression and let the men lead them.
And that´s how omax found out that the black-haired lady was Nekokishuu, the heir of Chronos kingdom, and the other girl was her Aide.he couldn´t believe her ears: why a crowned princess would hug and kiss an assistant like that?
From that day on, he had been their invisible stalker, and went wherever they go.
That´s what he told PoLacO.
And after a couple seconds, a big smile appeared in the Lord´s face.
_Let´s make a deal, shall we?_

Haru found a nice place to settle the tent.
After dinner, the Aide went outside with her flopsy and her ori to guard the camp.
Meanwhile, Neko was playing with the cute Teddy that PoLacO had given to her.
_I wish a would have stayed with your master_ She told the pet, that blinked and jump. _but is impossible for me to fall in love... my destiny is already decided... _

Haru was leaning against a tree, scaning the darkness. Only the crickets and her pets kept her company.
She thought she was alone, but she wasn´t. Hidden under his invisibility charm, was omax, his silent centinel.
When midnight came, the girl seemed tired and sleepy. Her eyes closed from time to time, so she couldn´t see that someone else was lying in wait for her in the shadows.
Haru closed her eyes just a moment, and when she opened again, a Pker was facing her.
He tried to hit her, but she rolled on the floor. And soon enought she realised she had no place to hide anymore. So she prayed : “Do not go into the tent” because Neko was sleeping inside.
The Aide shut her eyes tight, waiting for her death. But she continue breathing.
When she felt brave enought to watch, she saw the Pker falling to the ground again and again. It looked like as if someone invisible were attacking him.
Omax was so furious that killed the murderer and yelled at him: _Get out of here and never come back!_ he was happy with himself, until...
He turned and saw haru looking at him with a puzzled expression in her face.
In that moment he realized that he was so pleased eith the Pking that he had forgotten to concentrate in his invisibility charm.
_Em... ah... you know... I was in the neighborhood and... well..._ mumbled omax.
_Thank god that you were just passing by, or that guy would have killed us_ she said, pointing at the silent tent.
_Hey, no problem_ the magicisn answered her, turning and starting to walk away.
_Wait, omax..._ Haru told him _Would you mind keeping me compaly a while? I don´t like to be alone in the dark_
The mage daw her bush and smiled at her.
_Sure, it will be my pleasure_

Next morning, Neko woke up and heard voices in the camp. It was someone laughing. She peered out and saw her dearest Aide talking to the violet-haired sorcerer.
_OMG!!! I can´t believe you!!! You just couldn´t have... it´s so hilarious!!!_
_Oh, come on! You are going to tell me that you never made your flopsy do..._
_Ejem..._ coughed Neko. Both turned around surprised.
_Oh! My Lady!!! _ said Haru and got up so fast from the floor, that tripped with her own foot and fell noisily to the ground.
Omax tried to catch her in mid air, tripped too and fell over the Aide.
Neko couldn´t stop laughing when she saw them covered in mud.
_Oh my Lord... Haru, you are a complete airhead... and it seems that your friend´s a bit too. You look ment for each other_

From that day on, they became three on that journey. Omax said he didn´t have anything else to do. And because he asked no questions about the destination, and because Haru would be sad, the Princess let him come as a bodyguard.
_To prevent me of being without my silly Aide_ She said, bilnking her eye.
Being with the omax was a lot of fun, because he was always joking and singing. So the thow girls had a good time and from time to time even forgot why were they doing that trip.
They travelled for weeks and they became good friends, but it was clear to Neko that her Aide and the mage were becoming more than that.
And then she felt an ache in her chest, thinking about the Lord.what would have happened if she had stayed in his Castle? They would have became more than friends like Haru and omax? That was something thst she would never know.
She would never know love, companionship or compassion. Her future husband was a demon of a man.
One night, after dinner, and right after she went into her tent, she heard Haru and omax whispering.
The mage asked her Aide where were they going and then Neko found out that it was very difficult for Haru to keep that secret away from the man she was falling for any longer.
_I can´t... please, don´t ask me that again... I already told you that is something prived, something that I can´t talk about freely... something taht only concerns to_ was saying Haru when...
_To me_ said Nekokishuu coming out :It only concerns to me_
Haru saw sadness and determination in the Princess´eyes.
_Do you know something about Zaraki Kenbashi?_ asked Neko to omax.
_Yes... he´s the Leader of some of the most powerful Legions in all Chronos. He used to be their General, but he took control of the army and killed the former Leader. It is also said that he killed the King... OMG... the King was..._
_Yes... the King was my father. And I´m that girl that people called “the doomed bride”_
_Then why... why are you travelling North? You must know that his Castle is not so far away from here..._
_I´m running away. That same day that he attacked our Castle and tried to kidnapped me, my dying mother told me to scape. And i would have done it for the rest of my life but..._ and she sobbed.
_Zaraki sent a brosdcast saying that he would kill everyone in Chronos if the Princess didn´t marry him. And that´s the way the war started_ Haru finished for her.
_Oh God... i had no idea. I´ve been walking the whole world but I never pay much attention to what´s really going on. Until a few months ago, my real interest in life was becoming stronger_ omax replied.
_Well then... now you know the whole thing_ whispered Neko.
_Wait... and what about that Pker the other night? Why people wants to kill you Princess?_ omax was confused.
_They don´t want to kill her, omax... they want to take her to Zaraki. The only person they are seeking to kill is... well... me^^_ answered Haru, smiling.
He couldn´t understand how she could smile in such a moment. She was... so special.
_Well ladies.. I´ve made up my mind. If you don´t have any problem, I would like to continue this journey with you. God knows that we don´t want you dead_ he said to Haru, smiling her back.
Then they decided that the mage and the Aide were going to keep on eye on the camp. Neko wasn´t going to oppose, couse she could see that glow in Haru´s eyes that reminded her of the Lord. Her heart started to beat faster, her hands shaked a bit... what was that feeling?
_Are you ok Princess?_ omax´s voice sounded distant and brought her back to reality.
_Yes..._ answered her, smiling unnaturaly. _I´m going to bed now_ and she got into the tent without saying another word.
Haru looked omax, that was staring Neko, trying to figure out the secret meaning of her look.
_Yeap... she´s inlove. And she misses him. I think you know whom I talking about..._ Haru´s eyes reflected the light of the fire.
_Yes... but she must know that he has it in his thoughts and his heart..._ omax replied.
He talked without thinking, and saw Haru looking at him puzzled.
_Um... nuuuu... I mean... psssss... jeje_ he mumbled.
_He does too??? _ the girl went beside omax and knelt in front of him _ How do you know? Are you sure??? He feels the same way???_ While she said that, she had grabbed him by his clothes and was shaking him vigorously.
_ Ye... eee... eee... e...e...essss!!!_ stuttered omax. Haru let him go. Her thought were racing inside her head... If that was true, her Princess shouldn´t lose her hope. Maybe that would give her strenght to continue searching for the stone... A wave of happiness filled her, and without thinking, she hugged omax, laughing.

When they turned around, they saw tha big tail of the dragon, full of spines, coming towards them.
_Thank you omax!!!_ she whispered in his ear. Then she moved back and looked at him.
They were so close. He was touched by her tenderness, her eyes staring at his, her moist lips, the perfume of her skin... He didn´t think it twice, it was now or never. If he meditated it, he would have never found the courage to do it... so he got even closer and kissed her lips.
Haru hold her breath for a second. But when she started to feel butterfies on her belly, she let herself go, and kissed him back, closing her eyes.
They moved away and both laughted as little children praying pranks and were accomplices of that.
They were in their own world, and they never found out that someone was watching them closely. After all, omax wasn´t the only spy in this carzy world.
The guy dissapeared using a scroll.
Zaraki was waiting for him.
_Did you bring me any news GhostFace?_
_My Lord... we have good and bad news_
_Tell me the bad first_
_PoLacO is moving his Legion. And i saw the Princess and the other girl staying at his Castle_
_Damn PoLacO. I should have killed him a long time ago. But I will this time, if he tries to interfere on my plans. Anything else?_ Zaraki asked.
_A great news Sir. If for some reason the Princess Nekokishuu dies, you have other Princess to take into account... and she´s travelling with the heir_
_Very good, very good... inform our army. We are going to hurry things. We are attacking by dawn_

_We are getting closer. Zaraki´s Castle is a couple miles North. What are we going to do ladies?_ asked omax yawning.
_I don´t know. My last hope was finding tha dragon that carried that miraculous stone, but i´m giving up hope by now..._ said Haru with a dreadful expression in her face.
Neko put her arms around her Aide´s shoulders and tried to comfort her. But she was even sadder, because it was her destiny at stake.
They rode a couple of hours, until they were able to see perfectly well the dark shape of their enemy´s headquarters.
_Well, this is it, isn´t it?_ mumbled Neko. Her eyes were filling with helplessness tears.
_I guess... Shall we knock at the door or what?_ Sugested Haru. Even if they weren´t in the mood, they giggled.
In that moment, they heard the sound of dried leaves behind them, so they turned around.
A man was standing very near them.
_Well... Actually, there´s no reason to knock at the door. I would lead you inside if you wish..._ tha man said.
They couldn´t see his face because of the shadows that the trees were casting over him.
Neko approached and screamed.
_Zaraki Kenbashi!!!_
Zaraki laughted then. But it seemed imposible that such an evil person could have such a bright smile.
_How could you? My father trusted in you!!! How could you kill him like that? He thought you were reliable!!!_ Neko yelled at him.
_Hahaha... you don´t know a thing bout your beloved father or the kingdom. You were always playing hide and seek with that ginger maid of yours. What would you do if everything you´ve alwayd wanted dissapeared in one second?_
_Ohhh... how could i know? You tell me... But if I´m not mistaken: wasn´t that what you have done to me???_
_You are so funny. I like you. But all I wanted was my reward for all those years of faithful service. To be the heir of his throne when I marry his daughter. But you know what he dared to do the same day he found out he was dying? He gave averything to other person. And the stupid old man came to tell me... his confidant... his friend... his... jester!!! I killed him inmediately. And I should have killed PoLacO too..._
_My... Lord PoLacO? Why?_
_Don´t you get it yet? He was going to be your fiance! He took away everything from me. And just because of his cute face and good manners. And I was to became his Deputy!!! Damn him!!! I should have killed him too..._
While Zaraki kept complaining about his misery, omax took a summon scroll from his gown.
Murmiring a spell, he opened it as quietly as he could. One second later, PoLacO arrived to a clearing that wasn´t so far away from them. From where he stood, he could see Zaraki, Neko and Haru, and listen their chatting quite clear.
_And now I have a power so great that I can have the whole world if I wished it. And you are going to be the first ones to try it. And then is going to be PoLacO´s..._
_I´m here_ said the Lord, appearing from darkness.
All the peiple present turned around and faced him.
_My Lord!_ Neko said at loud.
_You!!! You have come to face your own death. All you have done is bring it forward a couple hours.but is perfect after all. First i´m gonna kill you im front of your beloved Princess. Maybe you wanna tell her then
How you sighted everytime you saw her... how you felt intoxicated by the perfume of her hair and her skin. How you always admired her from distance, when you were just a common member in my Legion. Tell her how much you loved her. Tell her how you begged her father to let yu marry her instead of me..._
PoLacO wasn´t taking his eyes from Zaraki, but he could feel Nekokishuu staring at him, making his skin burn.
_I´m gonna give you a merciful death. And I´m gonna let her witness it. But as a present, I´m gonna let you gine me the first blow. Come on now_ Zaraki said, putting his arms to the sides of his body, and closing his eyes.
PoLacO then jumped and sank his sword into his enemy´s chest.
The bood started to pour from Zaraki´s mouth when he started to laught.
_That´s all you´ve got? Now I´m gonna show you what I can do. I sold my soul to the Devil for this moment_
All flinched when a blinding light started to sorround the fiend´s body.
A persistant smell to ashes and sulfur arose.
A huge dragon appeared in front of them.
All run inmediately when with its breath he filled the clearing with fire
Neko hid behind a tree and PoLacO did the same.
Omax took Haru in his arms and flew away.
_You can run, but you can´t hide_ echoed Zaraki´s voice.
Seconds later, there were fire everywhere.
PoLacO came out behind the tree and faced the dragon.
_Here I am. Kill me if you wish, but let the others go_
Zaraki laughted again.
_You are not in position to negociate. I´m gonna kill you and then take my bride_
Neko came out too, and yelled to the beast:
_I´m never gonna marry you, you filthy murderer. I´d rather die than be your wife_
_And you will if you don´t cooperate... anyway, I found myself a replacement_
And lifting one of his paws, he let them see that he had Haru and omax trapped between his claws.
_It´s your choice. The wedding or your sister. Or i can kill you and marry her... I don´t care. I´m winning anyway_
_Don´t Neko! It doesn´t matter what happens to me... just run away!!! Leave me here!!!_ Haru yelled at the Princess, while struggled to free herself.
_No!!! I´ll never going to leave you!!! You... you are... I´ll never forgive myself!!!_
_Aaaawww... you are moving my poor gemed heart... how sweet_ Zaraki mocked them.
In that moment, omax invoked the Thunder, hitting the dragon in the chest.
The beast roared and let them go.
They hit hard on the ground. Omax was bleeding but Haru didn´t move. Neko run as fast as she could to be at her side.
Haru´s forehead was covered in blood, but she was still breathing.
_I´m so sorry... I should have tell you this a long time ago... my little sister... i love you so much... forgive me please..._ Neko cried while she caresed her sister´s blood-stained hair. The dragon was still roaring in pain.
PoLacO knet beside Neko, took the potion and spilled a couple drops in Haru´s head.
The ginger girl woke up a couple seconds later, just to watch PoLacO and The Princess with a terrified look in her eyes.
_PoLaco!!!_ screamed the Aide.

She didn´t know where she took all that strenght of. All she knew was, that even trought the pain she was happy to see that PoLacO, omax and Haru were ok.
She had pushed everyone away, and the animal´s tail hit her completely, the huge spines digging painfully into her flesh.
The blood gushed out, while everyone stared in shock. Even Zaraki was paralysed.
PoLacO was frantic. He knew that his potion was useless with mayor injuries... that she was lossing a lot of blood... that she was about to die. He took Neko´s hands and kissed them over and over again. Haru cried inconsolably, and even omax´s eyes were wet.
The dragon moaned and Pol flew into a fit of rage. Jumped over the dragon´s back and plunged his sword between the flakes of its throath and chest until he lost his strenght.
He ended up all covered in Zaraki´s blood.
A huge light covered the dragon´s remains. The animal´s flesh turned into dust that the wind clear away, leaving Zaraki´s body on the ground, lying next to Neko.
The princess hand was near Zaraki´s face. She looked at him and smile. And caressed his face. _Zara... ki..._
_I´m so sorry... all I ever wanted was to be with you... but now... the last thing that I wanted in the whole world, is that you come with me... you have to live..._ he spit out a gush of blood.
Zaraki put his hand over the deep wound of his chest, sink his fingers into his flesh and pulled his own heart out. It was a jewel just like a PG, but completely black.
When he put it in Neko´s hand it turned lighter till it was iridescent.
_That´s all I wanted to give... my love..._ those were Zaraki´s last words.
His body turned into dust too, and the wind swept it away.
_OMG_ said Haru sobbing _That´s the stone... that´s the “Destiny´s Breaker”!!!_
Neko had the stone over her chest. Haru put her hand over the stone and closed her eyes.
So did omax. PoLacO took Neko´s hand and placed over the gem along with his hand.
All made a wish. And after a couple second, they opened their eyes and prayed for the miracle.
But neko lied dead. Her eyes were open and a big smile were on her lips.
All were completely heartbroken. Their beloved princess was forever gone.
But a soft white light and a feather fall appeared.
Neko´s body shone and the stone dissapeared into her chest.
Then she blinked and started to breath again. And all hugged her at the same time. They were so happy to see her alive!!!
Haru hold her tight. She couldn´t stop laughing and crying at the same time. Her beloved sister was alive, and now they could scream to the wind that they loved each other. That feeling that they shared had produced a miracle. That love that sometimes make you stronger when you are in troble...
They moved away a bit, a big smile fixed in their faces.
Neko looked omax, standing there. Her best friend, her fellow team member in that darkened jorney. The one that made her been positive, that pushed away her problems with a joke, the one that helped her to carry her burden. That kind of friend that never let you down no matter what. He helped her to get to her feet and she hugged him.
He blushed inmediately. They broke apart and when she turned... there he was...
He was staring at her. He looked completely exhausted, but his eyes were full of live and had that special glow that only had someone inlove.
Neko walked toward him. Her heart was racing... she wanted to run and embrace him and feel safe in his arms.
But was PoLacO who run to her and hold her tight but gently.
_My sweet Princess..._ whispered on her ear _I don´t want to lose you anymore_
Her chest was about to burst with happiness, her legs were trembling when she looked at him. They looked at each other with eyes full of love, got closer and finally kissed.
It´s incredible when you find your soul mate, and you can feel that everything that went wrong in your life it´s not importante anymore, that you have forgotten all things that hurt you... that makes you high and happy, that takes care of you. That´s true love.
Before leaving the Castle, Neko looked back and thought about Zaraki: without him she wouldn´t be alive. He taught her that even in the deepest darkness you can always find the little flame of hope.

Lol i´m so sorry^^ Neko and I started to write this story in spanish. And when we found out that Valentine´s day contest was about a story we were so excited^^. The only problem was to translate it into English... and I´m not good at that XD and I finishit this morning after 4 days to write and translate non-stop^^ (non-sleep also lol)
That´s not an excuse for my grammar mistakes and spelling mistakes^^
