i think we ALL need those kind of bot that can answer automatically when you are afk...
lots of us have mannequins now and lots of ppl like paddling during dead times such as lunch/dinner time, when they have a shower and someone (like me :P ) peddle all night long...
well... it's just impossible to answer anyone if you are not watching your pc so why doesn't TQ offer us the possibility to have a bot that can answer for us with a message that we chioce?
it will be very usefull... i mean, we should not be anxious to know the answer of an offer if we know that who is selling is AFK all night or we will patiently wait if he says he's AFK 10 for minutes

You want TQ to make a bot for their system that was released to prevent bots?

This dont sounds much interesting for me... I would go more to the idea of a offline market, that was already suggested.

And how would that work? You dont know what the other person will ask you. You can put bot answering always same thing when somebody speaks to you, but the other person would be a little confused...
Like person ask you how much for 12*uni and bot say "120 eps". Then other ask you how much for elite+12 neck and bot answer "120 eps"...
So this would work only for sell one item/eud? Maybee i'm confused so please explain.

lol bot is just a name that mens it is authomatic... for example peddle's Hawk are bot too, they say always the same thing and nobody is confused... the only difference is that this bot will only wsp back an aswer
of course "120EPs" is not a good idea expecially if you are already peddling (prices are already in booth)but maybe you'll receive an offer and then you can simply say "i'm sleeping i'm connected from 00:00 to 01:00 server tme"
or maybe a friend just want to speack with you or have a question and you are playing with the mannequin... you can say "i'm playing with the mannequin, i'll answer you when i'll be back"
or mybe you're having lunch or something else...
of course "120EPs" is not a good answer...

how about this when your offline dont worry about it. If your offline and someone is tring to reach and cant figure out that your AFK then they really need a reality check. Do what i do and make a eud that says AFK park in your "AFK" legion spot, I know most legions have them and if your legionless then make your own. Summon the eud or euds and they will figure it out. Let TQ figure out some of the bigger problems like how to make things fun for everyone before we give them something meanial that would suit a lazy player. No offence intended. Oh and if you do go AFK let your legion mates or friends know that. so if someone does try to contact you there is someone to back you up.

Nop it's a bad idea. if EO allows afk bots some people will take advantage of this and use auto-farm bots.

Rolient - I think you don't get the idea.
It's not a bot - it's the same as out of office auto-reply message you can set in your mailbox.
Like - whenever you get a ws from someone, it automatically receives answer "Thank you for your message. I'm sorry but I'm currently AFK. I will get back to you after 1 hour"

well if they cant understand that your afk then thats there fault for sittin there for hours at a time. If they are that frantic that your not answering a message, then then you got more to worry about then a simple oh i was afk, they may need counseling for issues at home. Its just a game if you need them to contact you give them your number. but they have more important things to worry about this game then weather or not "jimmy" gets ahold of you or not. Let them figure out first how to get interest back in the game before they flood the airwaves with addons and gadgets. Maybe you should talk to a programmer and have them create a program that answers your messages for you. as long as it is not server based and doesnt play the game for you i think it would be allowed. But dont take my word for it.

what about just like on WoW itl say AFK above your char so people can see that?

Most players hates afk'ers,because they dont work hard and get high lvl faster than normal one's.

Status icons would be nice, Online, Away, Out to lunch, AFK... Or an awensering machine, "This contact is AFK, all messages will be given to him when he comes to the game".
