I like the idea that the items are siezed and not dropped (to be picked up by others) so you get the chance to get your item back. It is not clear whether the person that kills you gets an ep reward though if the item is paid for. I hope that is the case - better a player gets the reward than TQ.
Also very good that there are no red name drops any more as it is far too easy to go red name. Plenty of opportunity to cool down before hitting black.

Heh, a new way to gain EPs. And, dragonattack, if I understood it correctly, the new system will be like this:
1. Tradable items - if PKer redeems it within 7 days, you cannot claim it. If (s)he doesn't you can claim the item.
2. Untradable items - if PKer redeems it withing 7 days, you get nothing. If (s)he doesn't, the item will be destroyed and you get some EP.

Yet it's not clear who will determine item price - e.g., price for super+12soc2 weapon can vary from as low as 1200 to 12000 eps.
Or, ExpBalls for example - in LV the price go in range from 5 to 8 for non-boxed ones. At the same time they are like 20 EPs in London or Sydney.
Or plain elite items - the prices can be as low as 3 EP each.

If it's calculated automatically from all sales in boothes, then it's OK.
If it's not and preset prices are used, it may get heavily exploited, depends what the EP reward is.

Well, that was last price I knew - I just wanted to point out that prices are different and TQ cannot apply the same for all servers.

And I thought about one more thing - ore is untradable or not?
If it isn't, imagine this then - create 2 noobs, provide both with hatched wads/mads. Go with both to mines, let one dig for some ore, then let one kill other euds, trade dead between them till one noob is black. Then kill with another (so ore goes to reward) and wait for 7 days.

Hmm, a little better, but still I want to be able to get that euqip from the blacknamed I kill, not a few eps only.

And I doubt this will make people stop pk, it will encourage them I think, I will go pk some more atlest, to make them have to pay for their gears =)

Go get g0d and bubbles, they are black most of the time
And Xploit is trying to catch 'em up too (dunno how he manages to get black, cause I've killed him every time he tried to random PK my no legion noob with 160 pot or so).

Although you may have to change the legion...

Sorry I think this system is completely stupid. Why should PKers loser their equipment and have to pay to get it back? The whole POINT of this game is that it is a PK game. Retarded. Besides that this is easily exploitable... I could make tons of noobs get their special PP weapons and pk another noob to get them blacknamed... then kill blackname noob and there you go, I got 500 EPS for NOTHING... retarded and easily exploited...

We NEED an egg exchanger!

Similar to how you can swap clothes except you can swap eggs! A higher valued egg (in GOLD) can be exchanged for a lower value egg for free, however if you want a higher valued egg and exchanged for it with a lower valued egg, you will have to pay the difference in GOLD to get the egg...

If I read this announcement correctly only blacknames are affected and this is not fool proof because if they get killed by a guard they won't lose anything. So pkers can still go around in their good gear killing all low pot noobs until they get like 70 pk points then rest. If they do get over the 100 point limit accidently and get cornered by pk hunters they can just town teleport and get killed by guards. Still, they lose nothing if they pay attention to their pk points.

I wonder why rednames don't drop anything and I seriously question about the logics behind the getting killed by guards part.
