OK I've looked through the forums and cant see this mentioned anywhere.

Problem:
Unique Ion Engine lvl 60 (Green) PRR 38 MP 1800
Refined Ion Engine lvl 60 (Blue) PRR 36 MP 1650

Surely the rarer engine (refined) should have higher stats than the more common (unique). Or am I missing something subtle?

So is this a bug or can someone enlighten me otherwise.

I think I made the assumption based on an out of date guide that I didn't think to question.

what makes you think refined is more rare then unique?

It goes like this
White = common
Blue = Refined
Green = Unique
Purple = Elite
Yellow = Ultra

If at first you don't succeed get rid of any evidence that you ever tried

Refined/Blue is not as good as Unique/Green.

The easiest way to tell how good something is is by looking at how shiny it is. That's also a good way to tell if somebody can kill you or not, but you never know.

Funny because in EO they have the colors reversed (blue for unique and green for refined). It really took some getting used to and screwed me up a bit when I first started it.... just a random thought
